Microsoft Starts Offering Windows 11 22H2 Via OOBE
Recently, users who tried to install Windows 10 or Windows 11 21H2 via the clean install method with installation media that users can get officially from Microsoft servers, found that during the OOBE or Out of box Experience process, users will be given an offer to do installation to a version of Windows 11 22H2 that is newer than the version the user is trying to install.
This is more or less what it looks like
This offer is of course part of Microsoft's campaign so that users always use the latest operating system with a number of features and advantages in it, but there is one interesting thing here, where OOBE will, as usual, also be presented if the user's operating system is considered old enough, where Windows users 10 2004 may encounter OOBE in an unspecified timeframe, provided Windows 10 2004 users are already using Build 19041.630 or 19041.610.
“On November 30, 2022, an out-of-band update was released to improve the Windows 10, version 2004, 20H2, 21H1, 21H2, and 22H2 out-of-box experience (OOBE). It provides eligible devices with the option to upgrade to Windows 11 as part of the OOBE process. This update will be available only when an OOBE update is installed.” Microsoft said
So, for those of you users who haven't used Windows 11 22H2, Microsoft might offer this latest version of Windows 11 for you, either via Windows Update or via OOBE, because once again, Windows 11 22H2 has started rolling out for all supported devices. users simply enter the Settings page > Windows Update > and then click Check for updates manually to get Windows 11 22H2.
